Poetry Duet : Knit My Heart

KNIT MY HEART
   [Duet with Happiness Henry]

              [Godwin Essang ]
I shuddered in pains, shivered with fever,
Heart-broken, t'is the umpteenth time,
But you lend your heart to mend my heart,
It's complicated,  but please KNIT MY HEART.

You give me JOY while sorrows abound,
You support, comfort and exhort me to comport,
You chastised with charismatic melody and healed my wounds,
Oh sweetheart, please KNIT MY HEART.

You tailored my feelings with perfect expertise,
Kiss away my past and caress me,
Whisper to my heart, I'll confess:I LOVE YOU,
Your ethics, virtues and art  marvels models,
Oh sweetheart, please KNIT MY HEART.

I tossed the coin and you won a million times,
My heart beats for you, lo you made it unbreakable,
I wish to cleave till the penultimate tide,
So sweetheart, please KNIT MY HEART.

   [Happiness Henry]
I hate to see u wiggle in pains
Let me mend your heart for in it is a heart that deserves to be loved
Fear not my dear one for your cries I hear and your pains I feel
Give me a chance to please KNIT YOUR HEART

What more can I wish for but to see you smile
Let me stir up your heart with love, a heart once deserted
With just a glance of your eyes, you captured my heart
Close your eyes and forget the past, a past that fears and heart break lies
Let me be the one to please KNIT YOUR HEART

Kiss me with the kisses of your mouth that I find to be sweeter than wine

Let me be the seal to your heart
For my love for you is as strong as death can be
Let the words "I LOVE YOU" be the music playing in your ears
A music from a heart that cares, a love song from me
I will oh my love without fail
KNIT YOUR HEART

Poetry: Who We Are

WHO WE ARE [Nuesa] Welcome to the world of Engineering Where we take a ride Putting aside our pride With no hard feelings inside Even though the field is wide We try not to hide The rules we abide Pulling through wild tides   That's who we are! Have you ever wondered Who are these fellows Who tries to be heroes Though not free from sorrows Even when tired down to the marrows Even when the trumpet blows Never for once drop their arrows Till the day being laid below Still struggles to pull through   That's who we are! Hear me out my dear brethrens Never forget their names They're the ones with the brains And through out all their days They barely have time to play For fear they may led astray Don't judge if they keep away Blame us not for choosing these ways   That's who we are! But wait, who are we really? We're humans just like you Wedded to our career we say 'i do' though our chances are few And we're sta...
